SOLVED: WordPress Featured Images are not showing on live sites

WordPress Featured Images are not showing on live sites while on Xampp local host they are correct. It's not a migration problem because it affects also sites created directly on live domains.
On live sites the generated image links for WP Featured Images are wrong (while they are correct for other images).
At the beginning of the featured image links is attached a string referring to the mounted storage. Without these attached strings the links would be correct.
I've set up a demo of the problem here: www.andras.info
On the demo the generated featured image link is: http://andras.info/wp-content/home43b/sub001/sc27622-OTFB/andras.info/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/109-1_MOD300x200.jpg In the link the string http://andras.info/wp-content/home43b/sub001/sc27622-OTFB/ is added automatically at the beginning. Without this string the link to the featured image is correct: http://andras.info/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/109-1_MOD300x200.jpg
The problem is the same when the website is set up directly on the live domain. So for sure it's not a migration problem.

This bug is happening because some servers are configured differently and this is a Workaround for this as the team is still working on a fix and we suggest that you backup the files first:
Open:
wp-content/plugins/wp_roksprocket/lib/RokSprocket/Item/Image.php
and on line 139 comment out this :
if (!$container->platforminfo->isLinkExternal($url)) { $url = $container->platforminfo->getUrlForPath($container->platforminfo->getPathForUrl($url)); }
Remember BACKUP FIRST!!!!!
