  • Gantry 5 SEF URL structure

    • Is it possible to have the option to adjust the menu structure in Gantry 5 without using an SEF component.

      For Example,
      Home -> Services -> service-1....service-2....service-3

      URL: websites.com/services/service-1
      URL: websites.com/service-1 (we want this option)

      There is a plugin on JED that allows this but the developer said that Gantry 5 is causing it to not function. We asked if it would be possible to code it out for a fee but was told that it would not be possible at the moment because of the Gantry 5 menu structure.

      Just wondering if anyone else has a similar issue in wanting this option and if anyone in the RT community might have a solution without using a bloated SEF component to adjust all URLs.

    • One way to avoid the services/service1 is to create a new menu, say "services" and create the menu items there. Then in the main menu if you want to have them in a second level, create the new item and choose the 'Menu Item Alias' type, and select the corresponding service menu item from your services menu. (no need extensions)

      let me know if that makes sense, my english is not the best.
