custom js file loaded with parameters, why?

    custom js file loaded with parameters, why?

    • I added a custom css/js atom to the default outline, for field 'file location', I input 'gantry-theme://js/ready.js'. On front end, this file is loaded but with a parameter:
      <script src="/amb/templates/rt_ambrosia/js/ready.js?559b1850" type="text/javascript"></script>

      What does this parameter do and why was it added? Will it affect my custom js?

      No worries...that number is a ID# that is added to when the JS and CSS files are compiled. In your Admin -> Ambrosia-Default -> click the "Recompile CSS" button and you will see the ID# change for the new session.
