Disable Page Content in Gantry 5

What am I overlooking.... I am trying to disable the page content on the home page....I could do this easily in gantry 4, but it is escaping me in gantry 5.
In the template manager, when I click on the main content particle, it says, "This particle is needed to display the main page content, though it may be disabled from a few selected pages like your front page"
SO JUST HOW do I disable it from the home page?
Please...anyone with the answer - HALP!

Why disable it? Just select a menu item that won't populate anything inside it instead of the menu item type that you are using now. Ie. "Gantry 5 Themes < custom" menu item type.
