If the content lives on the page then it's readable by Google... even if it's one a second or third "slide" or "pane" the content is still there in the code to be read by Google... now, Google can also tell which content is visible versus hidden and it definitely takes that into account; whether the content is immediately accessible or has to be navigated to.... but it's the same for your users... a user can see certain items at page load and additional items/content after navigation (ie changing slides in the FlexSlider), so Google wants to mimic/record that same user experience...
