    • Hello!

I was trying to figure out the best way to simulate or implement "background" slider to a section but with no luck.

The main idea is this: I have set up four divs (custom html particles) in layout manager under one section and I would like a slider beneeth them or something to change the background images.

The only thing i came up with so far is to upload a gif instead of the background section still image, but gifs are to large and it is to complicated to change the images that way.

Do you have any idea how to solve this?

    • You didn't say what template you are trying to do this in? There are examples of backgrouind sliders in isotope , kraken and galatea. But put multi-module content on top of the slider is going to be tricky to get working proerly across all viewports and will probably require javascript as well as custom CSS to get it working properly. If you look at those template examples I mentioned you will see that some of them do have other content overlapping and this is predominatly done using negative margins on the section below the slideshow background so I guess that the methodology you should explore, but is can get more complicated when you want to fully overlap the content as your can't predict the height of the elements in a responsive template (and this is what means you might have to use JS).

      I hope that helps.

      Regards, Mark.
