    SOLVED Hydrogen stops other templates from working

    • Hello,
      I've been working on a site based on the Requiem theme.
      Today (out of interest) I installed Hydrogen.

      Since doing that, it appears that no matter which theme I set as default (Reqiem, Beez, Protostar) only Hydrogen appears on the site.

      Could someone please suggest what I may be doing wrong?

      PHP Version 7.0.1
      Joomla! Version Joomla! 3.6.0 Stable [ Noether ] 12-July-2016 21:14 GMT

      Hydrogen (v5.3.2 / g5_hydrogen)
      Requiem (v1.1.4 / rt_requiem)

    • It set itself as default in your Joomla Template Manager when you installed it... we're probably going to remove that "feature"

      Extensions > Template Manager > check out which Template is "starred" as Default

    • Hi Matt,
      The default is still set to Beez3.
      No matter what I set it to (Protostar, Beez3 or Requiem), it (the home page) remains stuck at Hydrogen.

    • What's your Default Home Menu item (star in your Menu Manager > Main Menu) set to?

      Clear all your system caches after making and template default switches

      I've not come across that issue previously as I've deleted all unecessary items/ modules/ menus etc.

      If a thread is solved please edit your *original/first* post and place "[SOLVED]" (no quotes; but you do need the brackets) at the beginning of your post title. Changing the post icon to the Solved Checkmark is helpful too. :)
