Gantry 5 Particle not loading in admin panel

Hello,
I just transferred the site to another domain (and another hosting) and eventually I found a problem in administration panel while trying to edit Gantry 5 Particle. I have Joomla 3.6.2 website with RT Requiem template 1.1.4, with all updates possible.
Attached is the screen of a permanent loading circle. The same issue appears when I enter the RT template settings menu. Attached is the screen.
The issue concerns only Gantry component, while any Joomla articles and modules work fine.
I tried to install again the Gantry framework, but failed to solve the problem.
I compared the hosting companies technical capabilities but the only difference I found is the version of MySQL database (5.5.49-cll-lve at the previous hosting VS. 5.1.67-log at the new one). Can it be the reason?

Almost certainly this will be a mod_security issue blocking the admin JSON calls in the backend - so ask your host to check the security logs and make the necessary adjustments. Also, look in browser console and net results in firebug to see if that yeidls any more clues.
