    • Menu particle into module position?
Have a logo that's rather Portrait in layout. Takes up a lot of whitespace, hence i want to have two rows to the right of it... a menu and a strip of social buttons, contact button, etc.

I like the simplicity of using the menu particle as then all the hard work of dropdown coding, etc is done.
however... a particle wants a whole row. How... do i put the menu particle INTO a module position.
Or barring that, this is for Hydrogen... what CSS classes do i apply to Main Menu to have it work exactly like the Menu particle that's baked into Hydrogen? This must be simple but i don't see how.
      Thanks

    • You just need a Container wrapper on your Section and a Sidebar Section created within it:

      docs.gantry.org/gantry5/advanced/creatin...te-a-sidebar-section

Most Main Sections in our Templates have a Sidebar or 2 in them... so you can check the YAML file on those for examples... Topaz features a right and left sidebar in EVERY section, so you could check the main YAML files there as well for examples

Hopefully that answers everything... in terms of putting a Particle into a Position that's pretty straightforward... if Gantry 5 is installed you have the option right in your Joomla Module Manager to create new Particles as Modules... if you want to map ANY Joomla Module, G5 Particle or otherwise, to your G5 Layout just use the Module Position Particle
