Updating Gantry causes Woff2 errors and odd looking fonts

Posted 8 years 6 months ago
    • Hi,

I have the Callisto Template on my site, and everything has been working fine till this week. I updated Gantry, and now I am having issues with my fonts in Chrome. It seems like new paths, CSS statements, or new font types and folders were added to Gantry 5, but is incompatible with my existing Callisto template.

The page first will load with no fonts for a second, just squares, then they will finally load but larger and weird looking, and not the normal looking font.

When I inspect the element in my browser I recieve "GET" errors:

      templates/rt_callisto/fonts/lato/lato_boldlato-bold-webfont.woff2
      GET /media/gantry5/assets/fonts/fontawesome-webfont.woff2?v=4.6.3
      GET /templates/rt_callisto/fonts/sourcesanspro/sourcesanspro_regularsourcesanspro-regular-webfont.woff2
      GET /templates/rt_callisto/fonts/sourcesanspro/sourcesanspro_boldsourcesanspro-bold-webfont.woff2

How can I fix this so the Fonts load normally on the frontend again.
      Thanks

    • We recently updated bourbon in Gantry 5 and this ontroduces woff2 font files. If you install the latest version of the callisto template you will find that we have added the missing woff2 font files to the template.

Your subscription appears to have expired. Support does require a current subscription. You will also require a subscription to be able to download the latest version of the template.

      Regards, Mark.
