    How can I view images like in the WordPress Media Library?

    • In the WordPress Media Library, I can get to the Media Library I can:

      1. View the size dimensions of any image
      2. Get to it in one click
      3. View images by month.
      4. Search for images
      5. Sort by media type

      With Gantry 5, at least out of the box, I can't do any of this. Is there an easy way to get this functionality back, especially #1, and then #2? #3, #4, #5 sure would be nice.

      I tried looking this up, but no luck.

    • 1. In you browser you can right click on the image in the imagepicker and use "view image info" and get the image dimensions.

      2. You need to navigate your folder so you will need more than one click in the imagepicker (unless it's in the root directory)

      3. no.

      4. no.

      5. no.


      In Gantry 5 the functionality is an "image picker" not a "media manager".

      This image is hidden for guests.
      Please log in or register to see it.


      Re #2, the only way to get to the image picker is when you're supposed to be choosing an image for a specific component, versus just wanting to look at it?

      #2 Then use WP media manager for that.
