Hey everyone!
I’ve just released Gantry 5.5.20 CI build ( gantry.org/downloads#ci-builds ), and this one is packed with updates that need thorough testing before it can be considered stable. This release brings full PHP 8.3 compatibility, native Joomla 5 support (no Compatibility Plugin required!), and a brand new dark mode for Joomla.
Here’s a quick look at what’s new, improved, and fixed:

- PHP 8.3 compatibility
- Native support for Joomla 5 (no more Compatibility Plugin!)
- Dark mode for Joomla backend
- Updated minimum PHP version to 8.1.0
- Dropped legacy PHP and Joomla 3.x support
- Replaced deprecated and abandoned packages
- Tons of bug fixes across Joomla, WordPress, and Grav platforms
Notable fixes:
- Infolist particle formatting issues resolved
- SVG display issues on Joomla 5 login/404 pages fixed
- Infinite recursion with large menus patched
- Compatibility improvements with Joomla 5.1.1
- Various WordPress and Grav fixes
