Yes I'll definately look at that.
I noticed that when I try to create a new article and link it to an existing menu item the article inherits the template/layout of the demo article. How do I create a new article with a blank page instead of inheriting the article template layout? Thanks so much for your help with all of this too..

Hey, I try that on a Olde version of gantry and it´s works.
style1.css - #rt-header .rt-container {height:200px; background: url(../images/header/header_960x200.png) !important;}
the result you can see at: musik-bim.de
now I try on gantry 5 hydrogen
custom.css - #g-header .g-container {background: url(../../images/header_960x200.png) !important;}
and the result 2017.musik-bim.de/ nothing to see.
can you help me?

I Updated to J!3.7.4.
Whitepage with error:
Error displaying the error page: An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("parse error: gantry-theme://scss/custom.scss on line 1").: An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("parse error: gantry-theme://scss/custom.scss on line 1").
When I rename the custom.scss for example to nouse_custom.scss the frontend works but of course without my
changes.
When I turn the debugging on:
