    • Hi Ben!

I take: 75 and come overall to 1142px.

      The ....div class="rt-grid-2 " style="width: 140px.

I mean the width of one column.
What is to do to come to 180 or 190 px in 'rt-grid-2'
with the 15 or 10px padding?

I need the space for the 160px banner sizes in this column. Sidebar-B at last.

      Thanks.

It's hard to say because I don't know what's surrounding the sidebar-b position. In other words mywidth.php will basically give you control over the overall width of the template. But each position will be effected much more by what is surrounding it and how you set the "layout" sliders in the template manager.

if you want rt-grid-2 to equal 180px, you'll have to increase mywidth.php to 85 or 90px. I don't know if that will actually work because I haven't seen your site. So just keep testing until you get the correct size.

    • I need the space for the 160px banner sizes in this column. Sidebar-B at last.

      That means:
      I need 160px width (column) - plus padding = 180px (with10px padding)
      ...

      1142px is the maximum width!

    • Hello Ben or Henning!
Is it possible to post you an url to check some spacings in the top of the site?
      I can´t change them.

      Thanks.

    • Hi!
I followed the great instructions above in this tread and I do see the “mywith” function in the template’s features. The only problem is that it doesn’t change anything in the front end…

I’m trying to make a slideshow module in sidebar A on some page that would be something like 300 px wide. I also would like the main body to be narrower on some pages.

I tried to modify the distribution of columns in the “mainbody” positions layout, but it doesn’t change anything either… There’s no cache activated anywhere on the site or in my browser. Can someone please help me with that?
      I use Joomla 2.5, Momentum V 1.6 and Gantry V4.1.2

      Thank you very much!

    • do you have a link?
did you add the php file (I can't see it working)?
wich value did you set for "mywidth" in the template settings?

    • Ok!
I think the file didn't upload... Sorry!
Now I see changes in the front end. The problem now is that it's affecting the whole template. I'd like to keep the same overall width but to give a wider (about 300px) space for the slideshow I want on the sidebar_a
You can see what I'm talking about here: florentsiaud.com/fr/spectacles/opera/la-capricciosa-corretta

I would also like to have ONLY the content width to be narrower. Is that possible?
      Thanks a lot!!
