3 plugins that break gantry - something is wrong?

Okay, so this is from a clean install using the latest gantry-joomla framework, and then the most recent RT template. These two plugins break gantry ( all of the JS functions are grayed out )
System - ModelBehavior
System - PowerMail 4 Joomla Cron
System - mtupgrade
I know I need the powermail script to work, not sure if the model needs to be on. But I KNOW that mtupgrade shouldn't be breaking Gantry. So what's happening here? Any thoughts or suggestions as to a fix? I have tried playing with the order that the plugins are published, but nothing helped.

hi marco,
the mtupgrade plugin should never break gantry, there must be another extension causing this, you can try that on a default rocketlauncher install and enable the upgrade plugin there, it should be fully compatible.
i had a look at your site and also see jquery being loaded in the backend:
src=" worklabs.ca/sandbox/worklabs//components...ssets/joms.jquery.js
can you try to disable that specific extension? must be something jomsocial related, but not the usual component that loads on the frontend.

Hi, yes, and thanks. It looks like it was the jomsocial auto update plugin that was loading jquery in the backend. I dunno, maybe I just spent too much time learning and using mootools, but even the word jquery just makes me angry:)
