im lost.... in installed a rocketlauncher with omnicron_j15, then installed gantry... but in the template manager there is two seperated site templates, the omnicron and the gantry... so.... how am im going to mix the two of them???
my understanding is that the gantry is if i want to create my own template ... sort of, and that's it...
i don;t understand why i need the gantry and the template...
can someone help me understand why i need both of them?

Okay...
1. A RocketLauncher has 3 components. A Joomla core, latest at the time; the template itself and the latest Gantry framework which is the glue that binds all the content in the template.
2. There is also a Gantry template which is for developers that want to start building there template from scratch.
I'm thinking that's maybe what you installed as you don't need to install the Gantry framework with a RocketLauncher.
The only time you would install a Gantry framework is too update to a newer version.
