    • hey everybody,

      sometimes and just on some pages of my site the splice.menu does not work correctly, i see the arrow, but the "i-dont-know-how-to-say" fading menu background is invisible and the error console tells me:

      Uncaught TypeError:
      Cannot read property 'child_height'
      of undefined
      window.GantrySpliceMenu.init --(FILE)gantry-splicemenu.js:67--
      (anonymous function) --(FILE)mootools-core.js:370--
      h --(FILE)mootools-core.js:33--
      Array.implement.each --(FILE)mootools-core.js:39--
      invoke.fireEvent --(FILE)mootools-core.js:369--
      g (FILE)--mootools-core.js:507--

      hope we can fix this issue as soon as possible.

    • First of all, do you have the latest version of the template, Joomla and the Gantry framework?
    • Please reply with a direct link to the issue & create a new thread for each new issue.

    • hey,

      there are three pages on my site with this problem. i think it´s suspicious tha just this three sites are not reachable about the splicemenu of my site. is'nt it? this are some disclaimer which only are linked in the footer of my site. one of the disclaimer pages occours this error.

      Uncaught TypeError:
      Cannot read property 'child_height' of undefined gantry-splicemenu:js.67

      the file which occours this warning seems to be .../rt_halcyon/js/gantry-splicemenu.js

      hope we can fix it...

    • This must be the error line, so there is no variable "child-height" existing in this moment when it´s needed.

      if (navigation)
      {navigation.setStyles(
      {'height': groups[isActive] || 0, 'overflow': 'hidden'});
      if (groups[isActive])
      {
      groups[isActive].set({'opacity': 1});
      }
      }

      other menu variations (splitmenu+fusionmenu) are working without any errors...

    • hey ladies and gents,

      my problem is not longer a problem.

      the error was caused by an other extension which should rewrite my url's. i changed the sef-url's and now the splice menu is working fine.

      thanks for your efforts and best regards from ger.
