Hi there
I see a lot of people posting about this error but I can not find any real solutions.
When I want to open my template in Extensions Manager, it gives this error:
An error has occurred.
0 Could not connect to resource: www.gantry-framework.org/updates/joomla16/gantry.xml
Could someone please assist.
(Joomla 3.1 and Gantry 4.1.17)

Could be a temporary issue - Maybe it was a network- or server issue?
It's just a feature that checks if you have the latest Gantry anyway

Hi Prim - thanks for the answer.
It is defintely not a temp thing - I had the error before and was advised that I should not use Joomla 3.1.
But I am sure that can not be the only workaround on this issue? Is there anything else except purging the cache and fixing the database errors that i can do?
If I click on 'fix' under extension manager > database, I get this warning:
Warning
Failed deleting uploader.swf
Failed deleting uploader.swf
I have also read that I have to log into phpMyAdmin to fix the issue in the database - not sure how to do that - can you perhaps explain?

Thanks Prim but this does not explain how I can stop gantry to check if it is the latest update?
Or how do I turn it off?
Or how do edit the table to stop this from happening?

- Can This error might be related to the fact that www.gantry-framework.org is unaccessable at the moment? or is it just me
