- Doesn't work for me... even tried to disable Gantry update in phpMyAdmin - no luck.

- Same problem here. Will start investigating.
  I have a local (MAMP) version of my site and that works fine. The live site though reports

- The issue is resolved for me, I did not do anything (so it might be that gantry have fixed there update servers)

- Mine does not work yet but the resource that it tried to connect to has changed from
  
  Could not connect to resource:
  www.gantry-framework.org/updates/joomla16/gantry.xml
  to
  Could not connect to resource: updates.rockettheme.com/joomla/updates.x...f6&ignore=update.xml
  
  Any idea what that might mean?
