    z-index issue with Gantry template SOLVED

    • Hi,

      I've been developing a site based on the basic Gantry template, but after installing a third party extension (JoomlaWorks SocialConnect) I have a problem with this SocialConnect dropdown underlapping a RokSprocket slideshow. It's odd because it correctly overlaps a RokNav dropdown menu (which in turn correctly overlaps the RokSprocket module).

      The z-indexes seem to be okay -
      RokSprocket 1
      RockNav menu 1000
      SocialConnect 9999

      Any ideas?

      It's in a password protected dev area at the moment, but I can DM the credentials if anyone wants to take a look at it for me.

      Thank you, I have PM'd you.

      I haven't browser cross-tested yet, but certainly on the latest versions of FF, Chrome and IE it's an issue.

      Sorry I meant to say it's the key button in the top right hand corner - but no worries, I did fix the issue -- I had the z-index : 1 code in each of the divs except the one that worked, so adding

      .layout-slideshow { z-index : 1 ;}

      fixed the issue.
