500Internal server error caused by gantry template (ximenia)

Started with Joomla 3.1.5 and Ximenia bundle 1.1.8
Things we have done:
-permissions check
-Gantry update 4.1.18
-compression through htaccess
-increased script time out
-reinstall ximenia Template
-contacted the hoster to check apache configuration
-upgrade joomla 3.15 to joomla 3.2 (problem didn´t change)
-set error.log to maximum (no errors reported)
-checked php information for needed modules (everything enabled)
-downgraded gantry bundle from 4.1.18 to 4.1.8 (didnt resolved the problem)
Ineed urgent help in order to make ximenia template working with joomla 3.2.
Any suggestions would be fine!

Well first of all we haven't released a version of ximenia compatible with J3.2

But, server500 errors are 99.9999% of the time environmental issues. Check you apache error log for a more detailed message about the server500. The most common reason is usually insufficient php memory_limit (ideally this should be 128M or higher).
Could you please post a URL to your site so we can look for you. Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

Sorry, we forgot to write that the problem is only in the backened of Joomla. Choosing
the ximenia template throws 500 internal server error with the content "premature end of script headers" in the error.log.
Can you tell us in which folder we musst place the php.ini for increasing the memory of the template scripts?

Ask you host for assistance with changing php.ini - it depends on your hosting environment.
"premature end of script" errors usually occur when something is timeing out on your server because the server timeout limits are set too low (usually in fastcgi timeouts) again ask you host to increase the timeout values.

Hello,
meanwhile we gave the gantry framework and template a memory limit 160M.
Doesn t work in backend. After 2 Minutes the same server time out 500.
We have installed the gantry 4.1.18 bundle with gantry template for j
3.2.0.
The gantry template doesnt works after 2 min server time out.
Seems gantry is not working proper on j3.2, too.
Any suggestions?

Meanwhile, we decided to develop on local machine. We made backup of
the remote installation of Joomla and started a recovery on our local
system. And see, everything is working fine. The admin is working
fine. The ximenia template works fine and the gantry framework, too.
We decided to leave updates for a while only we do it if an error
occurs on the local system.
The developer releases of our site we will install on the hoster site,
so only the frontend functionality of joomla is needed online.
If we get with the frontend in trouble, we will change the hoster package.
Okay thank u for ur suggestions, we will post again if we should get
in trouble with gantry ximenia again, but i don t beleave it will come
so.
