i searched for my problem in forums, did find some that are nearly the same but mine still seems different
Problem:
i can open the template manager, firstpage doenst open corretly (most of page is white, pictures arent loaded all correctly) and i cannot click any link in the templ. manager at all. ist just a 50% first page
story: i build my site with anacron template. it was on my server on domain.com/xyz -> i worked with that for a long time till site was done. then i enabley domain redirection so that my domain www.xyz-com goes for domain.com/xyz. and now admin template seems to still try to load some parts (images for example) with
www.xyz.com/an
i tried deleting cache and enabling/disabling optins in template manager -> options. nothing worked
i cant fix it on my own and might need some professional help. guess u guys might help me out and fix this fast

thanks for your wuick answer. all data in .secure tab
to your Questions:
no i dont use akeeba. didnt chance htaccess, didnt touch root
(as long none of my extensions did something)
a little hint aditionally:
if i open templ. manager there is one picture (left side) that doesnt load cuz it has the old adress in it. i think this might be the problem for all of it but dont know how to fix it-
1st : homepage and admin area not reachable under its domain
2nd : if i go for domain.com/DIR/ i can use the temlate manager again - no problems.
i wonder why all the rest of admin area is working well. no problem at all.
only solution i have in mind is to take all sites data into domain.com's root on my ftp instead of putting it into an directory? this cant be correct though, cuz i host different websites on this space and on the other sites admin area (same kind of redirection - domain.com - redirect -> domain.com/DIR it works fine
only difference : working redir is another template.
working one : diametric
not working : anacron
You know the best way to resolve this is to use akeeba backup and akeeba kickstart to relocate the site. That is by far the safest and most reliable method for relocating a site . It preserves the integrity of the relationship between files and database and I feel sure this will overcome your issues - then you won't need the redirect at all.

sorry im not that good in english. just to clarify:
i should dl akeeba backup / kickstart
and use those to do what exactly?
if i read it correctly kickstart only allows me to unpack zip files directly on the server instead of uploading zillions of files. and backup provides several backup utilities. (both for sure are good products - but i dont see the correlation to my problem)
i didnt fint a hint on akeeba site on how this helps me to realise a redirect!?
i would love to try it, but dont get me wrong: its hard to pay like 50 euros just to "try" it, without even knowing what to do at all
would love if u can enlighten me and tell me how ur post was supposed to fix my problem.
(sorry but i think much of my misunderstanding is cuz im not native english speaking)
clear down the directory and database associated with the domain name that you want to use.
upload kickstart and backup file to that directory
use kickstart to restore the directory contents and the database (checking settings as you go - e.g. log and tmp paths)
Once kickstart has complete you should then have a working site working in it's new location.
