  • SOLVED JLIB_UPDATER_ERROR_EXTENSION_O​PEN_URL error

    • When trying to update to Gantry 4.1.25 from 4.1.24 on a Joomla 2.5.24 installation I received an error:

      JLIB_UPDATER_ERROR_EXTENSION_OPEN_URL

      Does anyone have any idea why this is?

    • I would suggest that this might be a firewall issue, and therefore suggest that you talk to your host to see if they can help you to resolve this. In fact, all the update lookups are failing (see screenie) because the urls are being blocked by something. If you just try those urls in a browser you will see that they work, so it's definitely something to do with your server config.

      Very wierdly all the components are now up to date and the problem does not seem to be happening any longer.

      Thanks for your help in all this but it is all quite puzzling.
