    • Hi, I´m working with Gantry 5 for a new web site.
My issue, is Bootstrap 3.x... I need work with this version, no core Joomla Bootstrap 2.x.

is there any simple way to overwrite bootstrap 2.x with Gantry 5?

      Regards

    • No, Gantry 5 uses bootstrap 2.x because that is what joomla 3.x uses - we have to use the same version as Joomla. I know that Joomla are working hard on updating joomla to use bootstrap 3.x, unfortunately because of the way they implemented bootstrap 2.x they have many backwards compatibility issues that they need to overcome too.

    • Thank you MrT,
I know it's good to continue with the core version for compatibility issues.
However, there must be a way to override anyway ... what do you think?

    • our framework and templates use the bootstrap 2.x classes. they would stop working if you changed bootstrap 2.x to 3.x. So, i don't believe there is a way, no.
