    SOLVED 'Justify' Particle Text CSS Class?

    Posted 9 years 1 month ago
    • So, I would like to justify text in various particle boxes, within a module for e.g. so after trying to add justify / justified with no luck, I searched and read: This Doc

      However, near the bottom it only mentions align right, left or center but no justified.

      I'm trying to add it to the following area;

      I haven't found any resource that specifically points me to how I would or even if I can, go about attempting to add what would be required, for justify of text to be a css class option I can then add in particles etc.

      Any guidance or advice would be much appreciated.

      Regards,

    • Henning,

      Thanks for the quick response and you've made me 'Hmmmph' as whilst some of that I agree with, I actually find it better to follow reading justified text, as opposed to left or center etc... However, I am fully aware my site once it's launched, is not for me but for it's users, clients and members - so I'm just going to have to breath in to a brown paper bag, every time I read text or type it for my site... oh well.

      Thanks anyway.

      Regards,

    • The thing is there is no reliable hyphnantion in browsers right now.
      1st rule in design: things that belong together should stand together.
      Jutified text leads to situations where the word below the word you are reading is narrower than the next word in the same line. You would be surprised how justified text is slowing down the process of reading.
