SOLVED JS errors when inspecting with Chrome

  • SOLVED JS errors when inspecting with Chrome

Posted 9 years 3 weeks ago
    • Today when I inspect my website with Chrome browser, I got following 6 errors:

Error in file:/media/kunena/js/mediaboxAdv.js; Error:window.addEvent is not a function
Error in file:/media/kunena/js/default.js; Error:Class is not defined
Error in file:/libraries/gantry/js/browser-engines.js; Error:Function.attempt is not a function
Error in file:/templates/gantry/js/rokmediaqueries.js; Error:Class is not defined
Error in file:/modules/mod_roknavmenu/themes/default/js/rokmediaqueries.js; Error:Class is not defined
Error in file:/modules/mod_roknavmenu/themes/default/js/sidemenu.js; Error:Class is not defined

It seems that most are related to gantry.

      My system info:

      Joomla version: 3.4.8
      PHP version: 5.5.33
      Gantry Framework version: 4.1.31
      Gantry Free template version: 4.1.31
      Kunena Forum version: 4.0.10

I have no idea why there are so many JS errors?

Could you please help me to solve this problem?

      Thank you.

    • It seems that those errors are also related to JCH Optimize plugin. If I disable JCH Optimize, then I got only one error with inpection of Chrome:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'appendChild' of null

    • Please note that by answering your own post you take yourself out of the MODS "unanswered posts" queue and therefore might have to wait longer for a response - it's better to edit your original post so this does not happen.

Do you still require assistance? if so, Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and i'll have a look for you.

Make sure JCH_optimize is disabled and clear server cache as we do not offer support for third-party products.

      Regards, Mark.

    • It seems an issue related to JCH Optimize, I will ask them on their forum. so please lock this topic.

      Thank you.
