  • SOLVED why "Expand on Hover" does NOT work on gantry 5.2.18?

    • Today I made a test with Gantry 5.2.18, which is the laetst version, on Joomla 3.5.1:

      Fresh installation of Joomla 3.5.1, then install Gantry 5.2.18 and Hydrogen 5.2.18, no any other extensions installed.

      Since Joomla 3.5.1 only have one single menu item, I created a submenu item to the "Home" menu item first.

      Then I go to template manager and set the menu as "Main Menu".

      Now I refresh the frontend page, it shows the Hydrogen theme, with the "Home" menu item, and a little arrow indicating that there is a submenu.

      However, when I hover my mouse on "Home" of the menu, the submenu DID NOT EXTEND !

      I checked my "Particle defaults" on Gantry5 settings, the "Expand on Hover" option was checked as default. I did not change that option.

      why "Expand on Hover" does NOT work?

    • That may be a bug ... can you change behaviour in the "particle deafults" And see if that helps?

    • I tried, in "particle deafults", the option of "Expand on Hover" was set to "enabled"(checked) by default, which I had never changed.

      If this is a bug, please fix it. Thank you.

    • Ok, it turned out that its the browser I used for testiing. When I use Chrome browser, the dropdown can be triggered by "hovering", but if I switch to "Maxthon" browser, it can not work.

      Well, since Chrome is the "standard" browser, I think this issue solved.

      Thank you.

      PS: if you can make it work on all browsers, it will be better.
