SOLVED How to configure the Viewport in Gantry 5?

  • SOLVED How to configure the Viewport in Gantry 5?

    • Hello!

      When I run a mobile friendliness test in Google I get a message to fix this in my RT Callisto template.

      Add the following metatag into the head of your html document if the page is responsive.
      <meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, maximum-scale=1.0, minimum-scale=1.0, initial-scale=1.0" />

      What file do I need to change to add this line or is there a Joomla plugin that will allow me to customise Meta items?

      Thanks,
      JR

    • Could you please post a URL to your site (this can be done in the secure area tab if you prefer) so we can look for you. Without a link to page where the problem is on your site it is quite hard for us to provide the best solution due to so many variables. We try to provide file names and line numbers for code changes and if changes have already been made then our advice may be incorrect.

      What template are you usijng because the meta is already present?

      Regards, Mark.
    • Please search forums before posting. Please make sure your post includes the version of the CMS you are using and a link to the problem. Annotations on screenshots can also be helpful to explain problems/goals. Please use the "secure" tab for confidential information.

    • Well there's nothing wrong with the meta that is present. But if you want to add another you can do that on the base outline > page settings - head properties - meta tags.

    • Thanks for that Mark. I don't know why when my colleague runs the optimiser it keeps popping that 'line missing' up, but I figure I'll put it in to keep Google happy. JR
