  • SOLVED Gantry 5 Update issue

    • Hi!

      I'm having an issue whith the gantry update. I have the message that a new version is available in the admin view but when I click on update it goes to the joomla extension component and there is nothing to update.

      I tried clearing all the caches and I would like to know if this is a common issue or there is something I'm doing wrong or what. Is it possible to update Gantry installing directly the new version with the joomla component installer?

      I send you two screenshots and a superuser account.

      Joomla version: 3.6.2
      Gantry version: 5.2.18
      Template version: Galatea 1.1.2

    • I've updated that for you to G5.3.2 - You had G5.2.18 installed and that was very old and had some issues with the updater. But you're good to go now :)

      But in order to avoid the same issue maybe in other gantry installations, could you tell me how to proceed with the gantry update if the updater fails?

    • Download gantry from gantry site (make sure you download the correct package) and install in extensions manager. http://gantry.org/downloads .
