It seems after upgrading from a previous version of Gantry to 5.3.2 something a feature or setting has changed on my existing sites and ones that I'm building. There appears to be a difference in the way that a site is initially accessed
myurl.com
versus
myurl.com/home
. I'm not sure why it would matter, but first off I'd like to remove the reference to /home since it is redunant. Anyways it seems after the upgrade, what I've noticed is that any content to display on the "home page" including feature articles are only showing up when I add /home to my URL instead to / only.
Here is the comparison:
staging.groundwaterscience.com <- feauted content articles are not loading
staging.groundwaterscience.com/home <- using the assigned home template
Previous to the upgrade the home template would load under both situations

Please post your URL, Username and Password in Secure Tab and i will take a look and maybe figure out what the problem is.

- How are others assigning the root page on their sites in respect to the "home" menu item? I think that is the heart of my issue. I really do not want a /home, clicking the home button should go straight to "/"

Is it good now? You didn't have Home set to Default in Main Menu..
