SOLVED Hidden menu's are visible after Gantry update 5.3.4

Hi,
Is it just me or are there more people who have a menu-item that is "hidden" in Joomla menu appear after updating Gantry ?
I have worked around this issue by moving the items to another menu but that's not the way to go normally.

this issue has been reported on GitHub as well and will be looked into by our Gantry 5 dev team.

- The RocketTheme devs have been busy and this issue I can confirm is resolved with the download and installation of the latest " Gantry 5 CI build - joomla-pkg_gantry5_develop.zip ".

Hello, I have Gantry 5.4.22, and the Sienna template v 1.1.3 on Joomla 3.8.5 and the problem seams to persist, or I am doing something wrong ?
To be sure: I made the menu item hidden in the menu, in menu item edition, in the joomla menu. And I am supposed not to see that item in the menu. But I do. Will you help on this issue with advice or some source to read about, please ?
