SOLVED blockcontent particle

    • There seems to be a bug in the blockcontent particle as used in the Salient template.

The last block on the right is lower than rest.

I've highlighted the blocks in the attached to show you what I mean.

See our home page "Just some of our clients" logo section..

      http://ewdp.co.uk/

Also there seems to be no way of making the hyperlinks open in a new window/tab which I need to do for all these links.
This seems to be a limitation with many of the particles, unless I'm missing something?

      Thanks in advance

      Andy

    • It's your own custom CSS causing this. See screenshot.

    • How embarassing! LOL
      Thanks for that.
      Fixed.

Any thoughts on the external link opening in a new tab as don't think I can't use html in the link field.

    • You would need to create a particle override for that to add the target="_blank" to the link in the TWIG. Or you could add a field to the YAML too "target" and then use that in the TWIG (we do this on lots of other particles so use them as a guide).

To learn how to override a particle in Gantry 5 please see our documentation here http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/tutorials/overriding-particle-settings#overriding-particle-source-files .

    • Perfect sorted it thanks.

Would be a nice feature in particles generally.

    • It is generally added in particles - I don't know why it got omitted in that one.
