SOLVED Links to articles in Owl Carousel not working?

Hi,
I'm trying to use Owl Carousel to create a "newsslider" on the homepage. These are my settings:
Content source: Joomla
Display at Once: 3
Layout: showcase
---
Joomla category: Blog
Link: enable
Link text: Read more...
But I cannot get a link to show
Moreover: the carousel displays 4 articles, not 3...
This seems like something that "should just work", but it is driving me up the wall... anybody got this working?

In the owlcarousel "showcase" layout for Joomla content the title is linked for navigation purposes only. The code to provide the "readmore button" link is actually missing and there is an outstanding bug ticket for this.

as you might understand, I am very dissatisfied by this. I looked at the documentation for this particle, and decided that the advertised behaviour is what I needed. Now I bought this template, including this particle, and after spending nearly a day on this I cannot get it working. And now you tell me that it actually is not there?!?
I sold this template/site to customers using (among other things) this example/function. What do you suggest I do now? Tell my customers "ah, actually this is a broken system, but we bought it, so we need to work around this function I told you would work"? Nice!

If you where offering this template for free or part of a OSS or whatever, I would still be pissed of because the documentation implies that it will work. But you (r company) actually asks money for this... I find this truly unacceptable, sorry

I'm sorry but we never claim our products are 100% free and neither does any software developer. In this case the code for the link is missing from the particle and we already have a bug ticket outstanding for this which our developers have to fix. If you provide FTP details I'll see if I can add the missing code but it will add a "readmore" button (which is what it's supposed to do) - it won't be the title that links since that is used to navigate the images (shown at the top in the demo - which you did have turned off and I turned back on).

Hi,
I am using the Topaz theme on WordPress. I am configuring Owl Carousel NewsSlider Layout on my test site. The links on this layout are not working. Luckily, I found this thread on the forum. Can you please tell me to add read more tag on the same layout. Actually, I want to add top categories links of the blog using the NewsSlider layout.

This was fixed in v1.0.2 of Topaz and the current release is now v1.0.3. So backup and updated Topaz.

Can you please advise when this issue will be fixed. I updated my Topaz theme (1.03 for joomla) to the latets version hoping that the link problem will be fixed. I even switched from partcles to joomla categories but the link/readmore function is not working. This is such a critical element to the theme and a big disapointment that it is not working.
