    SOLVED Particle and K2

Posted 8 years 4 months ago
    • Happy New Year!

I have just begun to work with the newer particles, so forgive my simple question plz. :)
On templates (pre-gantry5/particle) i use a RokSprocket module to load K2 items.
Anyway, now that there is no RokSprocket, I cant seem to find a particle that will use K2 as the content provider. The only options now are simple content and joomla for particles like the Owl Carousel.
How do I use K2 as a content provider?
      Thank you.

    • You don't - we don't have any particles that can source their date from K2.

But why is there "no roksprocket"? You can use roksprocket in Gantry 5 still? so you can use that with K2.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thank you for the reply and the clarification.
So currently no way to use K2 with a particle, alright.

I am rebuilding one of our sites using the Citadel rocketlauncher. The only thing Rok in the 'Select a Module Type' is RokAjaxSearch. The rest is joomla module types and the Gantry 5 Particle option.

Maybe i have to go to download and install it separately from the extensions section of the Rockettheme website.

      Thanks for your help.

    • Correct.

Yes you download roksprocket from our site and install it in extensions manager.
