SOLVED Turning Off Particles Defaults do not change the page size

Posted 7 years 11 months ago
    • I turn off all unused Particles in the templates I used (Isotope) I was thinking that it will lower the size and number of css/js files loaded on the Site.

      Seem to do absolutly nothing?

1— Do I have to clear the gantry templates caches?

2— Are all css/js for these particle are loaded anyway?

3- Are all css/js for these particle are loaded only if used?

4- How I prevent all thoses css/js files to load if unused?

    • 1. yes
      2. no
      3. yes
      4. Depends which ones you mean specifically - there will be several require by Gantry anyway.

    • Ok, If I understand well, Gantry Template take care of it
If particle “ON” in template but not Used, their CSS/JS will not be loaded.

      Is this right?

    • Particles will not load their JS or CSS if they are not used since it is the particle itself that load the dependencies in the TWIG file.
