    • I know that the file main.js if NOT a virus, however, I am getting the following message and I wonder if this whitelisting of the file will stop my hosting provider unblocking all my Joomla websites.

      Thanks,

      Mike Wharton

    • We've reported this issue to clamav and they have verified that there is no virus and will whitelist main.js.

You will need to ask you host to unblock this in the meantime - there is nothing more we can do.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thanks Mark. I have contacted the hosting provider. I use Reseller Club for my hosting (around 80 websites) - I find that they keep serving up the stock standard answer about maintaining the site well - I always apply every update to all parts of the site within hours of the release so I know my sites are as safe as they can be.

I have asked them NOT to feed me the stock standard arguement without reading your reply to me and your general post about the issue. I hope that they do so and I can get the file unblocked.

      :-(

      Cheers,

      Mike

    • Me too, It's a false positive I can absolutely assure you. Your host should unblock this for you.
