SOLVED Salient Template: How to create sections within containers
Posted 7 years 6 months ago
The layout for the home page of the Salient (R1.10) Rocketlauncher demo site contains a Slideshow A container, Slideshow B container, and a Slideshow C container. However, when I installed the template only R(1.14), I do not see that container - I only see a Slideshow container.
What am I missing?? How can I configure my layout like that?

They are module position particles - so you can just drag and drop those onto your layout and call the positions anything your like (key).

Thanks, but maybe I didn't explain things better. I understand how to drag particles into a container.
The slideshow container I am describing contains three sections, not three blocks. A section has the ability to add rows to that section only, rather than to the container.
What I am trying to figure out is how to split a container into multiple sections, each of which I can drag a particle.
The demo template has this on the slideshow layer as well as the main, page content content layer.

Ok. Within Gantry 5 admin you cannot add sections yourself. You need to load a different layout preset (using the "LOAD" button top right) if you want a different layout structure. Do heed any warning messages though if you use this as it is possible to lose content - remember to check the box that says "keep existing particles" too. If the layout preset provided still do not meet your needs then you can create your own - please see

.
