SOLVED Gantry 5 update error

After I applied the Gantry 5 update today (version 5.4.20) I can no longer access my template (Versla) through the template: styles.
I receive the error:
Warning: Illegal string offset 'key' in /public_html/plugins/system/gantry5/gantry5.php on line 282
Then it redirects to the "Crikey! There was an error..." page.
How do I fix this? I'm building a site right now and can't continue to layout the site using Gantry.

Same here
Twig_Error_Runtime thrown with message "An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Identifier "theme.name" is not defined.")."
I've added the Stacktrace as TXT file...

- Definitely not an isolated case. I had the same thing happen. Had to apply a backup to make my site usable again.

- Same problem here. Can't access Supra or Aurora templates for modification (the 2 I have installed).

I was running 5.4.19 just fine here on my end in XAMPP locally on PHP 7.1.
But when I moved the site over to my staging server, I needed the 5.4.20 update because the server was on PHP 7.2.
So I thought I should go ahead and update to 5.4.20 in my local XAMPP testing site, but when I did so it triggered Twig errors (probably the same as those mentioned by the others above) and wouldn't allow me to do anything with the template.
I went and reverted to 5.4.19 for my local site and it started working properly again so that is probably a temporary solution for the others here...just thought it was a bit weird that 5.4.20 broke PHP 7.1 compatibility for some reason.
Hopefully it's a quick fix though

Guys - please install G5.4.21 - this has now been fixed.

- Still getting an error using Citadel. Front page has "0 An exception has been thrown during the rendering of a template ("Layout reference conflict on #logo-5768").
