I edited the modules/mod_random_image/tmpl/default.php file and that fixed it. Thanks.
Just curious but as all of my client websites are Joomla 3.0 with most using Gantry 5 (the other 16-17 Gantry 4 will be upgraded to Gantry 5 this summer), should I simply set my dedicated server master PHP settings to 128MB memory limit? - Just another old hacker!

Yup, as long as your server has sufficient memory all that will happen is that all the websites will run faster.
