- Thanks Damir, think I'm beginning to understand but two questions: I think I followed your steps. So since I started this all wrong, my base layout is clear--do I have to rebuild what I've already done for Home or is their a way to inherit from Home? Kind of backward inheritance?

Damir,
So I think you (and docs) are saying to just set (build) the base outline as global inheritance--as it is now mostly clear--and work 'down' from there. So in my case I'd set base outline as I have it in home including the menu assignment. Am I on the right track?...

- So after watching Alan's video it seams I don't really have to start at base outline in order to start inheritance. I can start on Home where i'm in process of building first page and have all the other pages inherit from there, right?

- Nope because if the page will not be assigned to anything it will use the Base or Default outline.

- Yes build in base outline and inherit in default from the base and then inherit from the base from other outlines the section that is repeated header footer etc ...
