SOLVED Regarding PHP support

  • SOLVED Regarding PHP support

    • Hi.

I just have a general question regaring PHP version support.

I run two different themes from you and a diversity of extensions and was wondering up to which version of PHP you have support for these.
Maybe I should be a little more specific to products?

    • Generally all out products work up to and include PHP 7.2.x although you will need the latest versions of those products installed (which will require a subscription to be able to download).

    • Thank you for your fast reply!

      OK.
I upgraded my servers to a higher version, because I got the message about it through Joomla.
Generally I delay these things a little before I do it, but doing it (I think) resulted in a white screen saying "Error".
I haven`t done so so much with it yet other than putting the site offline.

I have tried to spend some time looking through my logs, but I can`t read and understand them properly.
And setting the maximum level on the debugging i Joomla returns something short about an array thing.

I am doing a complete fresh install of the site, because I don`t think my database is corrupt.

I have a subscription and should be able to pick up things.

I guess you can see which two Joomla themes I am using.

Currently I work on a different site problem, but will look into it later.

    • "Array thing" sounds like your template/gantry is not up to date.

I can't tell what templates you are using.

I don't see any valid subscription on this forum account.

      Regards, Mark.

    • OK.
I found out that I was running 7.3, as I can remember now.

    • Do not use PHP 7.3 as it is too new and has many bugs in it.

    • Ok.

Can you set this as solved for me?
      I didn`t get the edit-button.
