SOLVED Error: 0 - Using $this when not in object context PHP5.6 -> 7.2
Posted 6 years 2 months ago
Hi,
I have just moved one of my sites from 5.6 to 7.2, I have update all modules and gantry templates, so i believe that i have all of Mr T fixes in place unfortunately I just get "Error: 0 - Using $this when not in object context", I've disabled the random image extension but still have the issue. The error message is less than helpful, and i'm not sure where to look next.

That's going to be one of your third-party extensions more than likely.
Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and I'll have a look for you.
Also, Please post your FTP logon, password and FTP URL in the secure area of your post.
Regards, Mark.

Andy - my sincere apologies, for some reason I was not notified that you had replied and therefore overlooked your post.
I have now looked at your site and I believe the issues are coming froma number of third-party products which I don't believe are compatible with PHP 7.2.x. Indeed, there are two products showing as requiring updates.
They are:
Acymailing
SEOSimple
JCE Editor.
So you should update those to latest versions and if the issues (errors now showing) persist you should contact the vendor of those products for assistance.
Regards, Mark.
