I've found that many times I prefer to use the Module Instance over Module Position. However, in Layout, if you've chosen Module Position, it actually shows you the name of the module in the overall layout, which makes knowing what it's linked to easier. But if you choose Module Instance, it shows you "module-instance," no module name, then you have to go into it to see the module number, then figure out the module name. Is there any way to label it on the layout?
In the case of the "module position" particle it actually shows the module position key on the layout (not the module(s) assigned to it). In the case of the "module-instance" that is the literal shown if you do not change it to something else...
In the case of either of those particles (or indeed any other particle) you can change the name show on the layout but click on the particle settings ("cog" icon) and then clicking on the pencil icon next to the particle name and change it to whatever you want.
Regards, Mark.
