SOLVED How to centre dropdown column container under parent menu item

Posted 4 years 3 months ago
    • Hi
I have read and followed the instructions in the Gantry 5 docs about setting up sub-menus in columns
      http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/configure/menu-editor
However I cannot find instructions as to how to change the position that submenu grid is placed in.
What I want to do is to centre the submenu container under the parent menu item
      See enclosed 2 images.
I can't work out the settings or the coding that needs amending.
This seems to be the the code that needs configuring - I think
      ul.g-dropdown .g-dropdown-column
But I cannot work out what needs doing.

      Any advice appreciated

      Andrew

    • It looks like you've got the dropdown set to "extended"?

Please would you post your URL, superuser id and pswd in the secure tab of your post and I'll have a look for you.

    • Ok worked it out
Using basic info in this old post
      rockettheme.com/forum/general-discussion...enus?start=0#1061997
Essentially manipulating the left property here...
      .g-main-nav .g-fullwidth .g-dropdown

    • Ok that other topic was a Gantry 4 solution. There's no need to do that in Gantry 5... but ok if you found a solution that works for you.
