    SOLVED Lightcase popup small on mobile

    Posted 2 years 11 months ago
    • I have added Lightcase pop links to my RokSprocket tables on my site. These are loading a enquiry form. These work ok on desktop but when I try to view on mobile the iframe is small in the center of the screen making viewing the content very difficult to use.

      The site is using Joomla 2.9.26 using Gantry 5 Helium template 5.4.37.
      RokSproket 2.1.28

      How can I get the popup to open larger on mobile devices?

      My site

      regards

      David

    • First, I'd suggest that putting data entry forms in modals is in general not a good idea. Partly for the reason you have encountered and also because a lot of forms don't behave well inside modals (error messages etc). So, really, it would be better to have the forms on a separate page.

      Nevertheless, this will help...

      Use this code...
      .itemid-1377 #lightcase-case .lightcase-contentInner, #lightcase-case .lightcase-contentInner iframe {
        height: 80vh !important;
      }

      To create a custom CSS compatible with Gantry 5 please read this http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/tutorials/adding-a-custom-style-sheet .

      Remember to recompile CSS from base outline too.

      Regards, Mark.

    • Thanks Mark I will try and add that text to my custom css.

      I did originally try with the module option but displayed find but broke the Recaptcha. When I discussed with RSjoomla they said was because the module is published already on the page and then loaded again into the popup.

      I did the module using module position that is hidden. Perhaps there is a better way?

    • But the module on a different page of it's own and then link to that page - don't use a modal or popupmodule.

    • Thanks Mark.

      Did both of these options and not this is displaying fine on mobule.

      Just added module to article and then linking didn't work and I had to make sure the link was using a template outline that was content only without any of the other positions etc.

      Looks to be working ok now.
