SOLVED Using Data of particle text fields within item label

Posted 3 years 11 months ago
    • Hi, i'm trying to use data, that is filled in a particle text field within a label for a subitem textfield.

      Example:

There is a particle that has a main data part. The name and the link for several subfeatures set generally.

Within the subitems these subfeatures can be set to true or false. To make it easier to see what feature is set, i like to use the name, filed in the main particle area, as the field label of the item checkbox.

Is this possible with yaml? Thanks in advance!

    • If you're asking if you can dynamically set a field lable in the backend of Gantry 5 admin then then answer is, no you can't. There's no conditional login in YAML or the ability to dynamically set a field label.

      Regards, Mark.
