SOLVED Helium on Wordpress - Can't save Google Analytics Atom

Posted 2 years 8 months ago
    • I set up Google Analytics but whenever I attempt to save it in the Helium Base Outline Template Page Settings, I get
      TypeError thrown
preg_match(): Argument #2 ($subject) must be of type string, array given

Now here is the weird thing, if I delete the atom and drop in any other atom, I get the same result. This includes Google Analytics, Custom CSS / JS, JavaScript Frameworks, and Lighthouse.

In fact, if I don't use any Atom but just open the Page Settings and click save, I get the same error message!

      Any ideas?

    • What version of PHP are you using? We do not yet support PHP8.

    • Mark,

I downgraded PHP from 8 to 7.4. That worked.

FYI, do you know when the Gantry Framework and templates including RocketTheme templates will be compatible with PHP 8?

    • No, I don't know. Gantry 5.5 is already available for testing and that will support PHP 8 https://rockettheme.com/forum/announcements-all/286608-gantry-5-5-testing-needed .

I stress this is a TEST version of Gantry 5 - DO NOT use it on production sites.

Gantry 4 will not be made to support PHP 8.

      Regards, Mark.
