Do the fixes @ rockettheme.com/product-updates imply that they also are fixed to work with the latest version of Gantry?

Yes, new version of gantry 5.5 required too. In fact , you will be prevented installing the latest theme version unless you install g5.5 too. Not all themes have been updated yet so do check that yours has. Also make sure you understand the implications before updating - see my topic in announcements that explains these.
WP and Grav themes have yet to be updated.
