I would like to translate the 'Prev' and 'Next' buttons of the Joomla Articles particle.
Can you tell me if the button text of a particle can be multi-lingual?
Where can I find the location of the language file(s) as per particle?

It's hardcoded in the particle TWIG file - so you will have to change it therein.
To learn how to override a particle in Gantry 5 please see our documentation here http://docs.gantry.org/gantry5/tutorials/overriding-particle-settings#overriding-particle-source-files .
The original file (do not change it there) can be found at /media/gantry5/engines/nucleus/particles/contentarray.html.twig
