Error message when installing Gantry 5

Hi. When I attempt to install Gantry 5 I received the following error message "Fatal error: Call to undefined method JInstallerAdapterPackage::getManifest() in /home/digitec4/public_html/tmp/install_5726cfae9f426/install.php on line 75"
Steps I take
- Download new template and download gantry 5 from rockettheme site
- Go to my joomla site and click Extension Manager/Install/Upload Package/ select the gantry 5 file from my download folder. click upload
Get Error message.
Please advise how I can upload Gantry 5 without error. Thank you!
